Longtime GOP Senator Dick Lugar Loses Primary Election to Tea Party Candidate Richard Mourdock in Indiana!

Dick Lugar-Left/Richard Mourdock-Right
Today Indiana Republican voters rejected longtime Senator Dick Lugar in favor of Tea Party candidate Richard Mourdock.

Mourdock's victory was decisive by a 60%-40% margin. He will face Democrat House Representative Joe Donnelly in the November general election.

So, what happened? Lugar has been in the U.S. Senate since 1976. He's 80 years old and hasn't lived in Indiana in years. That's what happened. The Tea Party saw a chance to take Lugar out and they did. He was easy prey.

Christine O'Donnell
Now, is Richard Mourdock another 'wart sandwich' in the tradition of Tea Party backed losers Christine O'Donnell, Sharon Angle and 'Nazi' Rich Lott?

Yes. Mourdock is financially backed by the Koch Brothers and FreedomWorks among other corporate sponsors. He is owned by them and would vote 'their' specific interests should he get to the Senate Chamber.

The good people of Indiana will have opportunity this coming November to arrest and cure the 'political cancer' that has entered their State in the form of "Tea Party-FreedomWorks" ideology, personified by Richard Mourdock.
Joe Donnelly for U.S. Senate

Although we disagreed with Senator Lugar on just about everything, he represented his State well and voted in the interests of Indiana and the people of this nation. Dick Lugar is an honorable man!

Look for the Democrats to take this Senate seat in November. We make this prediction because the majority of Indiana voters aren't stupid.
