Crisis in Syria: President Obama's Address to the Nation-September 10, 2013! His Case for Military Intervention!

Tonight, whether one agrees with his hard line positioning
on military intervention in Syria (we don't agree) regarding
Syria's use of chemical weapons against it's own people,
nonetheless, made a compelling, forceful, authoritative, non-political "PRESIDENTIAL" argument
 for his case to invade.
The President's articulate presentation of the specific issues at hand took him miles higher than his detractors on both the "right' and the 'left' and permanently destroyed the political pandering cellophane rhetoric of those on the "right" and the "left" in the substances of Mitch McConnell, Rand Paul, Nancy Pelosi, Alan Grayson, Eric Cantor, Barbara Boxer, Darrell Issa, Marco Rubio, Ted Cruz and others using this serious life threatening (to the world) issue for their political gain with their financial constituencies to all thinking, INFORMED people.
His statement, "The U.S. Military DOES NOT Pin-Prick"
aptly summed up a legitamate disdain and dismissal of those who would use a complex, serious international matter involving the preservation of life for any personal political gain.

In a phrase, the President left his opposition
'pissing up a rope' as he was clearly moving carefully forward with a complex blueprint toward a diplomatic solution to the
crisis in Syria.
Our opposition to many of this president's positions and plans is well documented on this blog.
At the same time, our respect for some of what he does and has done is also well documented as is our respect for his thoughtful processes in reaching his decisions even when we're not in agreement with those decisions.
